Terms of Use

Last updated: November 3, 2026

These terms are a contract between you and PatientFair, operated by Paid Rightly LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company ("we", "us"). They apply when you use patientfair.com (the "Site"), including the free bill check and the letter pack. By using the Site, or by clicking a button that refers to these terms, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

  1. Who may use it. You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract. If you use the Site for someone else, you confirm you have their permission.
  2. Information only; no professional relationship. The Site, the bill check and the letter pack provide general information and self-help document templates. They are not legal, medical, tax or financial advice. PatientFair is not a law firm, does not represent you, does not practice law, and does not act as your agent or advocate. No attorney-client, fiduciary or other special relationship is created. See our disclaimer.
  3. What the check and the pack are. The check compares what you enter with public Medicare data and general rules, and gives an estimate, not a determination of what you owe. The letter pack is a set of draft letters filled in from what you typed. We have not verified any of it against your actual records. Before you send anything you must read every letter, correct anything wrong or missing, and decide for yourself whether to send it. We don't send anything for you.
  4. No promise of results. We don't promise that any bill will be reduced, corrected or forgiven, that any provider, insurer or collector will respond, or that a deadline, rate or legal rule we describe applies to you. Outcomes depend on facts and decisions we don't control.
  5. No warranties. The Site, its content, tools, estimates and letters are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Laws and rules change and differ by state, plan and situation.
  6. Your responsibility and risk. You are responsible for the information you enter, for checking the results and letters, and for everything you send, say or do afterwards, including missed deadlines and payments. You use the Site at your own risk.
  7. Acceptable use. Don't disrupt or overload the Site, scrape it at a harmful volume, enter information that isn't yours to share, reverse engineer it, or use it unlawfully or to mislead anyone.
  8. Intellectual property. Our text, design, templates and code belong to PatientFair. Public government data remains in the public domain. You may use the letters you generate for your own bill. You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy the templates to resell or republish them.
  9. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PatientFair, its owners, officers, contractors and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost money, savings, credit, coverage, deadlines, data or opportunities, arising from or related to the Site, the check, a letter pack, or a provider, insurer or collector acting or not acting on anything you send. Our total liability for all claims is limited to $50 (or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if more). These limits apply to every legal theory, including negligence, and even if we were told of the possibility of the loss. Some places don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
  10. Indemnity. To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and reimburse us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, information you gave that you had no right to give, or letters you sent, if the claim comes from a third party.
  11. Disputes: informal resolution, arbitration, no class actions. First, email [email protected] with a description of the problem and give us 30 days to resolve it. If we can't, any dispute with us will be decided by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer rules, instead of in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section, and the arbitration takes place by video or in the county where you live. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to bring or join a class, collective or representative action. If this class waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court, not arbitration. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first using the Site by emailing us with the subject "Opt out".
  12. Time limit. To the extent the law allows, any claim related to the Site must be started within one year after it arose, or it is barred.
  13. Changes. We may update these terms or the Site at any time. The new terms apply from the date posted, and continuing to use the Site means you accept them. We may also suspend or end access at any time.
  14. Governing law and courts. New Mexico law governs these terms and any dispute with us, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs section 11 and your local consumer-protection rights that can't be waived still apply. For any claim that isn't arbitrated or taken to small-claims court, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
  15. General. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms and our disclaimer and privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about the Site. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may. Failing to enforce a term isn't a waiver of it.
  16. Contact: [email protected].
